Colorado Springs Neighborhoods: Cimarron Hills

Cimarron Hills is a mature, tree-lined neighborhood east of Colorado Springs. This neighborhood is one of the closest neighborhoods to Peterson AFB and is just minutes from Schriever AFB and Fort Carson Army Base.
Most homes south of Omaha Blvd. are a part of Colorado Springs School District 11 and homes north of Omaha are a part of Falcon School District 49. (Omaha Blvd. cuts the neighborhood of Cimarron Hills roughly in half. Cimarron Eastridge and Westridge are all D-49)
Because most of Cimarron Hills has not been annexed to the city, only a very few homes are a part of the Colorado Springs Utilities service area. The majority of the homes are serviced by the following companies:
- Cimarron Hills Water: Cherokee Water District
- Cimarron Hills Gas: Aquila Gas Company
- Cimarron Hills Electric: Mountain View Electric Company

- East: Marksheffel
West: Powers Blvd.
- North: Palmer Park
- South: Platte Ave./ Hwy 24

- Right across Highway 24 from Peterson AFB
- Just a couple minutes North of Schriever Air Field
- A 10 minute drive down Powers to Fort Carson Army Base
- Less than 5 minutes from the Colorado Springs Municipal Airport
- Home to the Sand Creek Golf Course
- Minutes from the shopping/restaurant/entertainment on Powers Corridor
- Home to the new Christa McAuliffe D-11 Elementary School (for homes South of Omaha Blvd.)
- About 10 minutes from Citadel Mall
