  • Golf courses:  1 Municipal, 1 Public, 1 Private
  • City parks:  35, totaling more than 544 acres
  • Recreation centers:  2
  • Public schools:  21 Elementary, 7 Junior High, and 4 High Schools
  • North Las Vegas is home to the main campus of the College of Southern Nevada.
  • Public libraries:  2
  • Nellis Air Force Base, on the eastern end of North Las Vegas, is the home of the U.S. Air Force Air Warfare Center and employs over 10,000 people.
  • The Cheyenne Technology Corridor, a five-mile stretch of office, industrial and retail space with an extensive fiber-optic network, is a winner of the International Economic Development Council Award.
