Thunderbolt Offers MacDill News and Events

The MacDill Thunderbolt is a weekly newspaper published by Sunbelt Newspapers, the publisher of The Tampa Tribune. The Thunderbolt offers weekly news stories regarding MacDill AFB, as well as information on events happening on and around the base. The Thunderbolt also features a special pullout section called “Primetime”, that contains a calendar of base events and ads for various services offered on base.
The 6th Services Squadron has a website, MacDillServices.com, that offers information on dining, lodging and other services on the base. The 6th Services Squadron also publishes a monthly magazine, Base, Bay & Beyond for members.

I am a registered nurse at the Tampa VA and my professional organization is the Association of Operating room nurses which is a nationally recognized not for profit organization. We are planning a local golf event and would like to advertise in the Thunderbolt. The event is scheduled for May 1, 2010 at the Heritage Harbor Golf & Country club of 19502 Heritage Harbor Parkway, Lutz, FL 33558-9740. I would like to know what the cost of advertising an event is for the thunderbolt on Mcdill AFB. I am a military dependent with an active i.d. card.
