ABOUT THE BASE
Peterson Air Force Base is adjacent to and east of Colorado Springs right off of U.S. Highway 24. Colorado Springs is also home to the Air Force Academy (North), Schreiver Air Field (East), and Fort Carson Army Base (South). Colorado Springs is the 2nd largest city (outside of Denver metro areas) in Colorado with over 500,000 people.
